October edition: a taste of tuscany

Rather than dwell on the start of the cold weather, lets embrace it with the delicious rustic mountain food of Tuscany. Famous for it’s meat, beans and cheese, this region celebrates “la cucina povera”, the food of the poor, letting nothing go to waste but rather creating hearty meals that use everything.

Let us whisk you away for the night where we will taste some of the local cured meats, cheeses and olive oils before cooking up a storm of antipasti, fresh pasta with wild boar ragu and of course the famous bistecca alla fiorentina. 

And last but not least, we will have the wonderful Will from Nysa Wine and Spirits offering us a tasting of some of Tuscany’s best wines and matching them with the dishes we will Produce. Nysa Wine is a small wine boutique in the heart of Chelsea. Great effort is made to sniff out incredible small producers from across the globe who passionately make expressive and characterful wines. Will Burgess is one of those responsible for tracking down amazing bottles and when not in Chelsea, is often found hosting private wine tastings and dinners in London and further afield.
