In Venice and the hills of Prosecco country, Enrica and Tom offer an exclusive and unique Epicurean weekend of discovery; exploring Castello di Collalto, one of Italy’s hidden jewels, and at the same time experiencing the rich gastronomic and viticultural traditions of the Veneto. The Collalto family have owned their incredible estate for over a 1000 years and have meticulously restored the castle it to its fomer splendour. It is now used solely for exclusive events and whilst the family still reside within the walls the surrounding farm buildings have been completely renovated in to beautiful holiday accommodation. Commencing with a water taxi ride to, and exclusive lunch in, the private gardens of Palazzo Rocca in Venice, home of the Rocca family since the 18th century, your three days of gastronomic indulgence will include candlelit barbecues and picturesque tastings of the region’s best wines, and also offer opportunities for relaxing in a magnificent ‘’organic’’ pool, Golf and shopping!

Truffle Hunting Trip

A new and exciting adventure has been added to Enrica Rocca’s Cooking School. This will take the form of a 5 day experience in the lesser known Marche region of Italy. Primarily it will take on the guise of truffle hunting. Truffles are known to be one of the most expensive delicacies in the known world. Their distinctive, strong flavour make them one of the most exciting ingredients to use. The trip will include visits to local cultural attractions, vineyards and oher local attractions. You will be accommodated in an authentic Italian farm house, work with the freshest produce from the area and most importantly, go truffle hunting with a truffle dog.

Dates: Departure Friday morning the 9th of November and return Tuesday the 13th of November

Price: £ 1.300 per couple.

Only Ryan Air flies into this region.
The best way is to fly from Stanstead airport to Ancona and return from Pescara to Stanstead. Both airports are equal distance from the final destination but this route gives you more time to relax and enjoy the experience.
