Private in-room cookery classes, wine-pairing dinners, wine tastings, authentic evening aperitivo service, live chef demonstrations and private meals will all be on offer in the near future as well as customized tours of the wine regions, farmer’s markets and grand villa architecture of the region. Guests also receive priority access to half-day or full-day cookery classes at Enrica Rocca’s cookery school set on the Guidecca canal in central Venice. Join Enrica on a half-day or full day culinary excursion. Tour the markets of Rialto and taste your way through the cheese and wine shops of Venice before returning to cook up an authentic Veneto feast.

 

 

Canal Cruises and Palladian Villa Tours

The smooth Brenta River is perfect for a full-day tour. You'll cruise on a modern boat that follows the routes made famous by the luxurious Burchiello barges that plied between Venice and Padova in the 17th and 18th century.

The excursion is highly interesting from a historical, cultural and artistic point of view. Along the Canal you can admire more than fifty villas, once summer residences of the Venetian nobility.
Along the way, Il Burchiello stops at three of the most important mansions: Villa Pisani, Barchessa Valmarana or Villa Widmann and Villa Foscari "Malcontenta".

Through Enrica’s connections you will have access to one of Italy’s most beautiful and still intact privately owned wine estates. Enjoy a visit to the private castle which has been the home of the Collalto family for over a thousand years.
Tastings at Col Vetoraz, who still own part of the Mont" of Cartizze in S. Stefano di Valdobbiadene.  This is one of the highest spots in Cartizze, 400 metres above sea level, from where the vista of the whole area around the hamlet of “fol” can be seen.
