Indulge and become an expert in Venetian Cuisine! Explore the Rialto market with Enrica who will show you how to identify the best and freshest of ingredients for your cooking.

Take your bags bursting with flavour back to Enrica’s beautiful kitchen and enjoy learning and tasting delicious Italian dishes which you can effortlessly recreate when you return home.

For this one day course Enrica will offer you the opportunity to choose between a class of meat and vegetable dishes or fish and seafood specialties. Tuesdays are recommended for fish and seafood classes as you will have the chance to explore Venice’s vibrant and bustling fish market.

 

• Discover one of the most ancient markets in the world and the luscious ingredients on offer alongside the Venetian lagoon.

 

• Learn how to select and cook fabulous meat and vegetable dishes or identify the freshest fish and seafood and whip up a mouthwatering Venetian storm.

 

• Enjoy the lively ambiance of Enrica’s large kitchen and entertaining space - located inside her family palazzo from the 1800’s, this room has been filled with delicious smells, laughter and well-fed guests for centuries.

• 10am - Meet Enrica at the bottom of the Rialto bridge market side.
• 10.30am - Begin the market tour.
• 12pm - First glass of Prosecco or Spritz in a typical Bacaro.
• 12:30pm - Return to Enrica’s kitchen to begin creating your delicious Italian feast.
• 4pm - Approximate end of class and time for a siesta.
