This half-day course offers you an introduction to Italian cuisine and wines.


While Enrica reveals the secrets of how to prepare the very best Italian recipes, a professional sommelier, with a long standing relationship with the Enrica Rocca brand, will introduce you to the art of wine pairing. The combination is ideal for wine and food lovers who want to understand the delicate balance between the two.




5pm Join Enrica in her modern apartment on the inside of her family Palazzo for a welcome prosecco; in the Spring and Summer enjoy an aperitivo in the Palazzo’s splendid gardens.
5.30pm Discover the art of wine pairing with our Sommilier Lorenzo Menegus
6.30pm Learn to prepare delicious Italian dishes
9pm Indulge in the fruits of your labour, whilst applying your recently acquired knowledge, recognising the perfectly complimenting balance between the very best wine and authentic Venetian food.

• A 4-hour stimulating introduction to Italian cooking and its ingredients.
• An introduction to  wine-matching by a professional sommelier.
• An exquisite Venetian dinner of 3 courses (antipasto, pasta and meat/fish), all the ingredients for preparing it, and carefully selected wines to match.
• “Making cooking more fun!”. A pdf file with many recipes, information on the best products, cooking techniques and suggestions for selecting the best ingredients.
